Position Summary: Kibernum is seeking a Senior Cyber Defense Engineer for a high-impact project focused on monitoring, incident response, and SOC operations. Key Highlights: 1. Operation of SIEM, EDR/XDR, and Threat Intelligence tools At Kibernum, we are looking for a Senior Cyber Defense Engineer to join a high-impact project focused on monitoring, incident response, and SOC operations. Main Responsibilities Monitor IT/OT SOC activities. Manage cybersecurity incident response. Analyze vulnerabilities and threats. Participate in forensic investigations. Generate technical reports and operational playbooks. Operate SIEM, EDR/XDR, and Threat Intelligence tools. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in SOC, CSIRT, or incident response. Experience with SIEM and EDR/XDR tools. Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK framework. Proficiency in forensic tools and vulnerability analysis. Intermediate technical English. Desirable: OT knowledge and scripting skills. Working Conditions Fixed-term contract with Kibernum, transitioning to indefinite-term. Hybrid work mode. Work schedule: Monday to Thursday, 08:30–18:00 hrs; Friday until 16:00 hrs. Location: Santiago.
