Job Summary: We are seeking a committed and responsible Mechanical Inspector to ensure proper maintenance of the vehicle fleet by conducting inspections and managing vehicle transfers. We are part of State Grid Chile Holding Group, a reference in electric power transmission, and operate across multiple cities nationwide—reflecting our commitment to nationwide, high-quality, and accessible coverage. **We are currently seeking a Mechanical Inspector to join our team at our Head Office branch in Curauma, Valparaíso** We seek committed, responsible individuals oriented toward excellence who wish to grow within a dynamic, technical, and collaborative environment in the electrical sector. ***What will be your challenge?*** Carry out vehicle inspection processes for company-owned vehicles according to the Area’s schedule, ensuring proper maintenance of the corresponding vehicles. Drive Tecnored-owned vehicles to transport them for maintenance, technical inspections, vehicle replacements, or other purposes. ***Your main responsibilities will include:*** * Verify vehicle documentation and condition. * Manage and enter information and/or documents into the relevant system. * Conduct periodic inspections of the condition of the company’s own fleet vehicles through planned inspections conducted jointly with the vehicle driver, delivering and receiving information from them. * Monitor replacement parts changes managed through suppliers (both contracted and non-contracted) during preventive and corrective maintenance related to transportation. * Prepare periodic inspection reports according to the Area’s scheduled planning calendar. * Transport vehicles for maintenance, technical inspections, or other purposes as required by your supervisor, to support Tecnored’s vehicle fleet. * Generate payment statements and purchase orders for maintenance, inspections, and requests related to leased vehicles. ***What we are looking for in you:*** * Medium-level Technician; a Higher Technician degree in Automotive Mechanics is desirable. * Minimum 1 year of experience in automotive mechanics. * Microsoft Office. * Class B driver’s license. ***What will your day-to-day role look like?*** * You will work collaboratively with your team. * You will have direct interaction with internal and external customers. * You will report to the Area Manager. ***Our commitment to you:*** We promote a safe, collaborative, and continuously improving work environment.
