Job Summary: At SMS Sudamérica, we are seeking Backend Developers with solid experience in Java and Spring Boot for an agile and collaborative environment featuring modern deployment and automation practices. At SMS Sudamérica, we are looking for Backend Developers — professionals with strong experience who combine technical tasks with effective communication within an agile and collaborative environment, including modern deployment and automation practices. Main Responsibilities Development and maintenance of backend solutions using Java and Spring Boot. Implementation of change controls in applications, ensuring traceability and process compliance. Participation in CI/CD processes, including automation and application deployment. Technical and functional documentation of implemented solutions. Requirements Degree in Computer Engineering or equivalent. Proven backend development experience (minimum 3 years). Experience in CI/CD, automation of pipelines, and application deployment. Knowledge and experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.). Effective communication skills and customer orientation. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Preferred Qualifications Experience in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP). Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases. SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE Java project development (versions 8 to 21) with Spring Framework. Use of Spring Boot (3.5), JPA, Spring Batch, Spring Security, Spring Cloud Gateway. API development (SOAP/REST). Strong knowledge of SQL databases. Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming. Functional programming knowledge. Testing tools knowledge: BDD and TDD. Metrics usage knowledge: Micrometer, Prometheus, Grafana. Strong knowledge of Java versions: from 8 to 21. Strong knowledge of Git usage. Linux user-level knowledge.
