**DESCRIPTION** --------------- We are seeking to hire a highly motivated, top-tier Infrastructure Implementation Technician to join our growing network scaling team. The role involves supplying hardware, configuring fiber connectivity, and executing interdependent network scaling projects across multiple data center sites. The Network Technician will work closely with internal customers and external vendors to ensure successful project execution in coordination with Technical Program Managers. Our ideal candidate is highly autonomous, extremely detail-oriented, possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills, and has substantial experience supporting large-scale enterprise networks. They will be highly proficient in all aspects of network hardware, software, and fiber connectivity installation and troubleshooting, combined with a proven project delivery methodology. This position operates with minimal supervision to drive the stability and sustainability of our next-generation networks and support the development of innovative ways to automate and scale our network as we expand. Infrastructure Implementation Technicians are expected to apply established best practices to refine operational procedures, develop new tools, and consistently think proactively and innovatively. The desire and ability to work in an ambiguous and collaborative environment are essential for success. Key job responsibilities Network troubleshooting, cabling troubleshooting, knowledge of optical infrastructure, CLI proficiency **BASIC QUALIFICATIONS** ------------------------ * 1+ years of computer networking experience * 1+ years of Linux operating systems experience * Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field * Experience in computer networking * Experience working with Linux operating systems * Ability to lift and rack equipment up to 40 pounds * Experience with computer hardware troubleshooting and repair **PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS** ---------------------------- * Ability to work in confined spaces or elevated locations while adhering to health & safety guidelines * Experience effectively engaging with customers during problem resolution and operating efficiently under pressure * Experience managing work and priorities through a ticketing system * Experience with cabling infrastructure best practices and methodologies * Experience working in a data center environment (racking and stacking gear, cable management, hot/cold aisle containment) Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
