At Babel Chile, we seek a DevOps Engineer to join development teams working on medium- and high-complexity technology projects, supporting process automation, cloud platform operations, and the evolution of modern architectures. We seek a hands-on profile with a DevOps mindset and a focus on reliability, security, and observability. Key Responsibilities: * Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab. * Automate infrastructure via Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) (Terraform). * Operate and evolve cloud environments (AWS / GCP). * Administer Kubernetes clusters (EKS, GKE, or OpenShift). * Collaborate with development teams on DevOps practices. * Implement security standards across platforms and pipelines. * Monitor systems and services to ensure observability (logs, metrics, alerts). * Work under Agile methodologies. * Participate in continuous improvement of production environments. * Apply best practices for Linux operations. Profile Requirements — MANDATORY * Experience working in Agile environments. * Minimum 2 years implementing CI/CD pipelines with GitLab. * Minimum 1 year working with Cloud (AWS and/or GCP). * Minimum 1 year using Terraform. * Minimum 1 year of software development experience. * Minimum 2 years administering Kubernetes (EKS, GKE, or OCP). * Solid Linux experience. * DevOps mindset and automation culture. * Knowledge of security (hardening, scanning, access control). * Experience in observability (monitoring, logging, alerts). Desirable Requirements * Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK, New Relic, or others. * Experience with vulnerability scanning in pipelines. * Knowledge of SRE practices. * Experience with cloud-native architectures and microservices.
