About the Role
**Erzurum Learning and Professional Development Group** is seeking a **Cloud Integration Architect** to join our team in **La Unión, Los Ríos Region**.
In this role, you will be responsible for designing and evolving integration architectures among applications, cloud platforms, internal systems, and third-party services—ensuring interoperability, security, scalability, and traceability.
You will work closely with teams across **architecture, development, infrastructure, security, data, operations, and product** to define integration patterns, APIs, events, data flows, and technical standards.

Key Responsibilities
* Design integration architectures between applications and services.
* Define synchronous and asynchronous integration patterns.
* Design and govern REST APIs and other integration services.
* Define messaging and event flows.
* Participate in microservices-based architectures.
* Design integrations between on\-premise and cloud systems.
* Work with integration platforms and middleware.
* Define security standards for integrations.
* Collaborate with data teams on information movement and synchronization.
* Design error handling and retry strategies.
* Define observability, logging, and monitoring for integrations.
* Review technical proposals and interface designs.
* Support legacy system migrations and modernization.
* Participate in API contract definition.
* Maintain technical documentation and integration diagrams.
* Identify architectural dependencies and risks.
* Support integration testing and technical validation.
* Work with DevOps teams on deployments and automation.
* Participate in security and compliance reviews.
* Mentor technical teams on integration best practices.
* Perform other duties related to cloud architecture and integration.
Requirements
* **5–8 years of experience** in development, system integration, solution architecture, or cloud.
* Prior experience as a **Cloud Integration Architect, Integration Architect, Solution Architect**, or similar role.
* Experience with **AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform**.
* Solid knowledge of **REST APIs, microservices, and distributed architecture**.
* Experience with messaging or event platforms.
* Knowledge of **Kafka, RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus, AWS SNS/SQS**, or similar technologies.
* Experience with enterprise system integration.
* Knowledge of authentication and authorization via OAuth 2\.0, OpenID Connect, or similar.
* Experience with containers and Docker.
* Kubernetes knowledge is a plus.
* Ability to produce technical documentation and diagrams.
* Strong communication skills.
* Ability to work with cross-functional teams.
Desirable Qualifications
* A professional degree in **Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications**, or a related field.
* Experience with **MuleSoft, Boomi, Azure Integration Services, AWS Integration Services, Apigee**, or similar platforms.
* Knowledge of event\-driven architecture.
* Experience with API gateways.
* Knowledge of infrastructure as code.
* Experience with CI/CD.
* Knowledge of observability and monitoring.
* Experience with data integration and ETL/ELT.
* Cloud certification is highly valued.
* Intermediate or advanced English is valued.
