Opportunity to learn from world-class fund managers The IT Architecture Department of **AFP Habitat**, a leader in Chile's pension industry, is looking for its next candidate to join our Information Technology Management team as an **Application Architect**. AFP Habitat manages over US$50 billion — among the largest in Latin America — and is recognized for its leadership in Chile's pension sector. You will have the opportunity to directly engage with and learn from some of the world’s top fund managers. As part of this team, your primary focus will be defining and designing the patterns, platforms, and standards that enable efficient connectivity among the various components of the digital ecosystem. Additionally, you will design, lead, and oversee the integration architecture across systems, applications, and services, ensuring interoperability, scalability, security, and alignment with AFP Habitat’s technology strategy. **Your responsibilities will include:** * Designing and defining standards and guidelines for system, API, and service integration. * Managing integration architecture (middleware, ESB, iPaaS, API Gateway). * Participating in early-stage hardware and software analysis. * Proposing and utilizing APM (Application Performance Management) tools to ensure high visibility and control over the platform. * Analyzing operational continuity issues on the platform and delivering improvement proposals. **The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:** * Degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field. * Programming languages: Java, Node.js, SQL (Oracle, DynamoDB); Big Data experience is desirable. * Application Architecture: Microservices, SOA, REST and SOAP API design, web services, integration buses. * Containers and Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes, Amazon EKS. * Frameworks and Standards: Definition and application of development standards for frameworks and integration patterns. * System Integration: Application server clustering, high availability, and scalability. * DevOps and Continuous Integration: Use of tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps for deployment automation. **Because you matter to us, Habitat offers you the following benefits:** * Hybrid work model * Welfare Corporation (Employee savings – Medical reimbursement / dependents and more) * Catastrophic Insurance with 100% employer coverage * Bonuses and allowances (Nursery – School/University – Meals – Flexible Bonus) * Library (access to over 10\.000 books) * And more **Join one of the Top 5 Best Places to Work in Chile, according to Great Place To Work Chile!**
