Electrical Engineer - Data Center

Job Summary: Electrical engineering or related professional with experience in team leadership, operational continuity, and management of electrical systems. Key Highlights: 1. Team and vendor leadership to ensure operational continuity. 2. Installation, configuration, and maintenance of electrical systems. 3. Diagnosis and application of safety regulations for electrical installations. Professional in electrical, industrial, or related engineering fields, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in the role. Requirements: • Desirable diploma or certification in electrical systems. • Desirable certification from the SEC (Chilean Electrical Safety Authority). Knowledge in: • Service delivery. • Team leadership skills. • Team and vendor leadership skills. • Disaster contingency planning. • Operational continuity. • Installation, configuration, and assembly of electrical systems. • Configuration of electrical networks and panels. • Bizagi, MS Project, or Trello. • Intermediate to advanced office software proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). General Responsibilities: • Ensure operational continuity of all assigned services (Data Center, electrical infrastructure, UPS), as well as propose improvements. • Attend monthly client meetings to report service-related challenges. • Lead periodic meetings with supervisors from each service area. • Installation and Assembly: Deployment of electrical systems, including cabling, conduits, distribution boards, and lighting equipment. • Preventive and Corrective Maintenance: Periodic inspection and repair of faults in motors, circuits, and electrical machinery to ensure continuous operation. • Blueprint Interpretation: Reading of electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals for project execution. • Diagnosis and Measurement: Use of measurement tools (voltmeters, ammeters, oscilloscopes) to diagnose voltage, current, and power faults. • Safety and Regulations: Strict adherence to safety protocols and applicable regulations (e.g., SEC in Chile) to ensure safe installations. Work Type: On-site. Work Location: Downtown Santiago.
