This position offers practical experience in an accredited laboratory environment, operating under SGS’s quality, safety, and environmental standards. **Key Responsibilities** ------------------------- * Support the preparation of reagents, standards, materials, and laboratory solutions according to established procedures. * Participate in tests, analyses, and experimental activities under the supervision of analysts or specialists. * Record, organize, and process technical information and experimental results. * Collaborate in preparing reports, records, and documentation associated with tests or thesis-related activities. * Assist in basic verification of the status of laboratory equipment and instruments. * Contribute to maintaining laboratory order, cleanliness, and safety. * Participate in initiatives aimed at improving, optimizing, or validating analytical methodologies related to their internship or thesis project. * Comply with SGS’s internal quality, safety, and environmental procedures. **Requirements** -------------- Final-year student or recent graduate completing a thesis in: * Chemistry * Biochemistry * Biotechnology * Chemical Engineering * Environmental Engineering * Biotechnology Engineering * Chemical Laboratory Technician * Related fields * Availability to carry out the professional internship or thesis on-site. * Interest in developing a career in an analytical laboratory. * Basic knowledge of laboratory techniques and instrumentation handling is desirable. * Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office. ### **Additional Information** * **Work Location:** Puerto Varas, Los Lagos Region. * **Work Modality:** On-site. * **Working Hours:** Monday to Friday, 08:30–17:00 hrs.
