Our Chilean team is growing, and we are currently recruiting a Senior Electrical Designer to join our Mining & Metals (M\&M) business line in the Chile office. **About the Role** * Coordinate the delivery of multiple design tasks. You may be required to lead activities of junior technicians or drafters assigned to a common task. * Discuss project-specific specifications and drawing/design reviews. * Create practical and cost-effective solutions to diverse challenges requiring original thinking and ingenuity. * Plan, organize, and coordinate the technical aspects of one or more projects. * Use and understand discipline-specific computer-aided drafting/design (CAD) software and/or possess broad experience in design within a specific discipline. * Develop and implement work criteria, standards, procedures, and methods. * Conduct site visits as required by the project. * Understand, apply, and maintain consistent design standards across projects by comprehending and adhering to Ausenco’s design standards. * Deliver required project design drawings and/or technical documents in accordance with quality standards. * Comply with Business Management Systems policies and procedures. **About You** * Draftsperson/Designer Technician or Construction Engineer with specialization in Electrical Engineering. * 8+ years of proven work experience in mining and industrial projects, either with engineering consulting firms or construction companies. * Proven experience using Smart Plant 3D and Smart Plant Electrical software. * Experience in mining projects involving detailed engineering, EPCM or EPC projects. * Intermediate level of English language proficiency. **Why Ausenco?** We support individual growth, and our goal is to enable you to work in a way that leverages your strengths and meets your needs.
