Job Summary: We are seeking a VDF Specialist to diagnose, configure, and maintain frequency converters on lifting equipment and hoisting systems at mining sites, with a focus on safety and efficiency. We are currently looking for a **VDF Specialist for mining operations**, who will be responsible for diagnosing, configuring, parameterizing, and maintaining frequency converters associated with **overhead cranes, lifting equipment, and hoisting systems**. **Main Responsibilities:** * Diagnose and resolve faults in frequency converters. * Perform configuration, parameterization, and commissioning of VDF equipment. * Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical and drive systems. * Analyze alarms, faults, and equipment behavior. * Perform backup and recovery of parameters. * Verify control signals, motors, and associated components. * Conduct functional tests after interventions. * Comply with technical procedures and mining site safety regulations. * Report anomalies and propose corrective and preventive actions. **Requirements:** * **Education:** Higher Technical Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Automation, Electromechanics, or related field. * **Experience:** Proven experience in diagnosis, programming, and parameterization of **VACON Frequency Converters**. * **Mandatory:** Experience and knowledge in **Lift Control and Multipurpose applications**. * **Mandatory:** Experience in maintenance and diagnosis of **overhead cranes, lifting equipment, and hoisting systems**, preferably in mining or heavy industry. * **Skills:** Analytical and fault-resolution capability, proactivity, responsibility, teamwork, and safety orientation. **Work Modality:** **7x7 shift at mining site**.
