If you seek job stability, professional development opportunities, and the chance to join a leading forestry industry company, we invite you to apply! ### **What Is the Overall Purpose of This Position?** To implement maintenance guidelines for forestry equipment and perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities according to the weekly plan, ensuring proper operational continuity of forestry operations while safeguarding and complying with ARAUCO’s MASSO corporate regulations related to safety and environmental standards. ### **Main Responsibilities** * Inspect, diagnose, and repair failures in forestry equipment; inspect, diagnose, and repair minor failures in forestry equipment. * Execute preventive maintenance guidelines on forestry equipment and conduct mechanical inspection guidelines for all equipment. * Promote and participate in the improvement of maintenance processes and procedures. * Perform measurement, inspection, maintenance, and repair tasks on wheeled/tracked systems; perform field welding and minor machining tasks; replace hydraulic hoses on all operational equipment. * Clean, blow out, and wash all equipment; implement organization, cleaning, and 5S practices in workshop trucks and maintenance vans. * Identify and assess hazards and/or risks associated with each activity jointly with your work team; support inspection and cutting of steel cables, assistance equipment, logging towers, and carts. ### **What Do You Need to Apply?** * A **Medium-Level or Higher-Level Technical Degree in Automotive Mechanics, Heavy Machinery, Electromechanics, or a related field** (mandatory). * Experience in preventive and corrective maintenance of heavy machinery, forestry equipment, or mobile equipment (minimum 2 years preferred). * Valid Class B driver’s license (mandatory). * Availability to work under a 10x5 shift system. * Willingness to travel between various forestry operations in the Valdivia Zone as required by operational needs. ### **What Do We Offer You?** * Job stability and corporate benefits. * Training and professional development opportunities. * A collaborative, safe, and continuously improving work environment. * The opportunity to join a leading company in the forestry sector. ***At ARAUCO, we work daily to develop renewable forest products that improve people’s lives—a mission that challenges us to build committed, enthusiastic, and creative teams.
