Position Summary: SIGMA S.A. is seeking an Electrical Protection Engineer to perform and model electrical tests, calibrate equipment, and carry out detailed engineering for protection systems. Key Responsibilities: 1. Calibration and testing of electrical protection systems on various equipment. 2. Modeling and coordination of electrical protection systems. 3. Detailed engineering applied to protection systems. At SIGMA S.A., an integrated services company for mining and engineering that provides solutions focused on construction, commissioning, and maintenance, we are seeking a professional to fill the position of Electrical Protection Engineer. **Key Job Functions:** o Calibrate electrical protections for all electrical equipment. o Perform electrical tests on calibrated equipment. o Adjust equipment according to projected protection studies. o Generate test and measurement protocols as required. o Carry out detailed engineering applied to protection systems. o Perform power flow study modeling. o Perform short-circuit current study modeling. o Perform protection coordination study modeling. **Job Requirements:** * Electrical Engineer or equivalent degree (Mandatory). * Must hold SEC Class A license. * Minimum 7 years of experience executing mining, pulp & paper, or industrial projects, of which at least 3 years must be in leading PEM teams in the area. * Proven experience in PEM for substations and power lines. * Proven experience in electrical protections for high-voltage (HV), medium-voltage (MV), and low-voltage (LV) power systems. * Knowledge of power systems, electrical test acceptance criteria, and PEM for electrical systems. **Contract Conditions:** Location: Rancagua\-Sewell, Teniente. **Transportation:** Ground transportation (commuter buses) \+ Per diem
