IPL’s 4,500 employees also manufacture and market industrial chemical and fertilizer products and services to customers worldwide. **Principal Responsibilities** * Demonstrate and/or lead commitment to achieving Zero Harm through behavior-based safety. * Ensure compliance with applicable HSE performance standards, objectives, and regulations. * Live and promote DNL’s corporate values. * Advise customers on optimal use or application of the Company’s products to improve customer operational efficiency. * Maximize business volume within the assigned Dyno Nobel Chile account. * Manage and support company customers during product introduction, handling, and application. * Maintain customer relationships by identifying and fulfilling their technical needs. * Participate in all internal company processes and in the customer’s value chain. * Conduct technical studies. * Keep updated on competitor information; understand competitors and their products. Train operators and internal staff on equipment and product usage and properties. * Identify the type of support required by the customer and propose solutions. * Present technical-commercial proposals to the customer. * Input design and field data into software. * Prepare work sheets with design parameters for explosive application. * Develop blast initiation diagrams. * Perform blasting simulation using software. * Configure explosive charges. * Slope stability studies. * Vibration monitoring. * QA/QC control. * Generation of improvement proposals. Civil Mining Engineering, Mining Execution Engineering, or related degrees. **Technical Competencies** * Basic knowledge of Electronics. * Minimum 5 years’ experience in the role. * Intermediate-level technical English (spoken and written). * Proficiency in Office applications (user level). * Blasting designer license. * Class B driver’s license. * Mining and blasting operations. * Safety standards. * Explosives and blasting. * DS 72 Mining Safety Regulation. * Blasting design and analysis software (AutoCAD, QED, JK2D, SmartBlast Design).
