




Job Summary: We are looking for a Product Operations Engineer to be the end-to-end owner of features and team operations, designing scalable processes and identifying clear opportunities for product improvement. Today, over **6.5 million people** use our products daily, and we aim to reach **100 million** within the next 5 years. As a **Product Operations Engineer**, you will be the *end-to-end* owner of features and team operations. Your goal is to design scalable processes and identify clear opportunities for product improvement. You will work side-by-side with developers to transform our customers’ pain points into software. This person will focus on Bank Reconciliation (*AKA* Reconciliation), the team owning two key products in Fintoc’s infrastructure: * **Movements:** An API that connects companies to their bank accounts to view transactions and reconcile in real time. Month after month, the team processes over 4.4 million transfers. * **Reconciliations:** The engine through which we automatically reconcile every peso of the billions of pesos flowing through Fintoc’s and our customers’ accounts each day. **About the Role** ---------------- * You will define and manage the Reconciliation team’s roadmap, prioritizing initiatives that deliver high impact both to the Movements API and to the maintenance of Reconciliations. * You will own the quality and SLAs of both products, analyzing operational data and developing monitoring tools to ensure process performance and health. * You will identify opportunities to improve operational processes and conceive new features. You will write design documents for your solutions and collaborate directly with Engineering for implementation. * You will automate manual and repetitive tasks using AI and tools such as Cursor or Claude Code, Retool, and Google Cloud Functions. * You will periodically execute daily operational processes and manage operational incidents. **What We’re Looking For** ------------------------- * You have at least 3 years of experience at a technology company in Operations, Product, or Engineering roles focused on process automation. * Demonstrable experience managing a software product’s roadmap, prioritizing initiatives that drive high operational and business impact. * You have a technical profile and solve problems autonomously: you write code to automate tasks, know how to consume and use an API, are comfortable with Cursor and low-code tools, and use SQL to query data. * You are AI Native: you don’t just use ChatGPT—you’ve vibe-coded products or features. You’ve built functional software, from interfaces with Lovable to logic with Cursor or Claude Code, to bring your ideas to life. **Selection Process** -------------------- * Conversation with Jope from the People team to get to know you. * Technical phase or hands-on challenge: if you pass, you’ll meet the Head of Ops in an interview to dive deeper into technical development. * Interview with one of the founders to ensure alignment. * Finally, a coffee chat with the team. **We work in person at our offices in Santiago de Chile or Mexico City.**
