




Job Summary: We are seeking an IoT/Embedded Systems Developer to prototype an autonomous outdoor early fire detection system, programming microcontrollers and integrating sensors for real-time data transmission. Title: IoT/Embedded Systems Developer (ESP32 – Early Fire Detection Project) Project Description: We are looking for a developer to build a functional prototype of an outdoor smoke/fire early detection system (for forested or rural areas). The goal is to develop an autonomous device capable of detecting abnormal conditions (smoke, temperature, etc.) and sending real-time alerts. Responsibilities: \- Programming microcontrollers such as ESP32 or Arduino \- Integrating sensors (smoke, temperature, motion) \- Optimizing the device's energy consumption \- Implementing data transmission (WiFi, cellular network, or LoRa) \- Supporting real-world system testing Requirements: \- Experience with ESP32 or Arduino \- Knowledge of C/C\+\+ or MicroPython \- Experience working with physical sensors \- Preferred (not mandatory): experience in IoT or remote monitoring projects Preferred Qualifications: \- Basic knowledge of electronics \- Field project experience \- Interest in innovation and developing real-world solutions Work Mode: Freelance project (possibility of continuation) Location: Chile (Santiago or surrounding areas preferred, but not mandatory) Compensation: To be agreed upon based on experience (initial short-term project with potential for scaling) Initial Objective: Develop a functional prototype within 1–2 months Job Type: Temporary Contract Duration: 2 months Salary: Starting from $800\.000 per month Workplace: Hybrid in Puerto Montt, Los Lagos
