Freelance Performance QA At **Grupo PS / EVA Learning**, we are looking for a **Freelance Performance QA** to design and execute performance tests on a web platform in a pre-production environment. We seek a professional with proven experience in performance, load, stress, and concurrency testing, capable of evaluating platform behavior under various usage scenarios, identifying bottlenecks, and delivering clear technical recommendations to support a stable and secure production launch. This position is freelance-based and deliverable-oriented; therefore, we require an autonomous, analytical individual able to clearly communicate technical findings to the development team. Service Objective Design and execute a test strategy to evaluate platform stability, availability, scalability, and response times under varying load levels, identifying technical risks and improvement opportunities prior to production deployment. Main Responsibilities * Design and execute performance, load, stress, and concurrency tests. * Define representative test scenarios, considering the platform’s critical workflows. * Simulate different volumes of concurrent users and load conditions. * Measure response times, availability, error rates, throughput, and service degradation. * Analyze resource consumption and overall platform behavior during testing. * Identify bottlenecks at the application, API, database, infrastructure, or associated service level. * Review logs, server metrics, and available monitoring tools. * Document methodology, configurations, scenarios, results, and evidence obtained. * Prepare a technical report with findings, risks, and prioritized recommendations. * Propose improvements aimed at optimizing performance, stability, and scalability. * Present and explain results to the technical team in a closing session. Profile Requirements * Proven experience as a Performance QA, Automation QA, QA Engineer, or in similar roles. * Experience executing load, stress, performance, and concurrency tests. * Ability to independently design test scenarios. * Experience analyzing metrics, errors, response times, and resource consumption. * Knowledge of log analysis and application or infrastructure monitoring. * Ability to identify technical risks and translate them into concrete recommendations. * Strong writing skills and ability to produce technical documentation. * Availability to work on a freelance, project-based, or deliverable-based basis. * Availability to coordinate meetings with the technical team. Desired Tools and Knowledge Experience with the following will be valued: * Apache JMeter. * k6\. * Gatling. * Postman and Newman. * Grafana and Prometheus. * Cloud monitoring tools. * Log and server metric analysis. * Web platforms, LMS, e\-learning, SaaS, or transactional systems. * Environments developed with React, Django, AWS, or similar technologies. Expected Deliverable The service must conclude with a technical report including: * Test objectives and scope. * Methodology and tools used. * Evaluated scenarios and workflows. * Simulated concurrent user volumes. * Obtained metrics. * Response times and error rates. * Evidence of execution. * Identified risks and bottlenecks. * Conclusions. * Prioritized technical recommendations. Additionally, a results presentation session with the technical team must be conducted.
