We seek an AI-ready Senior Backend Developer capable of building robust solutions in Java and microservices while actively leveraging Generative AI tools as a development copilot, maintaining high standards of quality, security, and architecture. You will be part of teams operating in complex financial-sector environments where **AI is not experimental**, but rather a key accelerator for productivity, quality, and time-to-market. Your Key Responsibilities * Development and Architecture * Design, develop, and implement APIs and microservices in Java following enterprise standards. * Define and implement scalable, secure, and maintainable backend solutions. * Apply best practices in design, integration, testing, and observability. AI-Assisted Development Use Generative AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Kairo, analysis and generation assistants) as a routine part of the development lifecycle: * Code generation and refactoring * Support in debugging and error analysis * Generation of unit tests and technical documentation * Critically validate AI-generated outputs to ensure quality, security, and technical compliance. Collaborative Work * Participate in agile squads and planning and design ceremonies. * Collaborate with architects, technical leaders, and functional teams. * Contribute to continuous improvement of development standards, patterns, and practices. Requirements for Success Education and Experience * Professional degree in Computer Engineering, Civil Informatics Engineering, or related field. * Proven 3–4 years of backend development experience. Technical Skillset * Proficiency in Java (ideally Java 17\). * Object-oriented programming and advanced data structures. * Microservice and API design and development: * definition * orchestration * control and monitoring * Experience with frameworks such as Spring Boot and cloud/containerized environments (e.g., GKE or others). AI Skillset (Desirable / Valued) * Practical experience using Generative AI in software development. * Ability to integrate AI as support—not replacement—for technical judgment. * Basic knowledge of responsible AI usage best practices (security, data handling, output validation).
