At **Stefanini**, we are looking for an **AI Agent Developer** to design, build, and implement intelligent solutions that automate processes, improve our customers’ experience, and generate business value. The selected candidate will participate in generative AI projects, integrating large language models, enterprise tools, data, and APIs to create autonomous, secure, and scalable agents. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Design, develop, and implement AI agents focused on business tasks and processes. * Create conversational flows, prompts, tools, functions, and orchestration mechanisms. * Integrate AI agents with REST/SOAP APIs, microservices, databases, and corporate systems. * Develop backend services and integration components using Java and Spring Boot to support AI solutions. * Implement RAG solutions, embeddings, semantic search, and connections to enterprise data sources. * Integrate solutions with cloud services, especially AWS API Gateway, Lambda, S3, SQS, SNS, CloudWatch, and CloudFront. * Participate in event-driven, queuing, and messaging architectures using Kafka and Redis. * Apply SOA, microservices, hexagonal architecture, and design patterns. * Implement security controls considering OWASP, OAuth2, SAML, and JWT. * Develop unit, integration, and functional validation tests. * Incorporate logging, monitoring, traceability, and observability into solutions. * Monitor agent behavior and optimize their responses. * Apply software engineering best practices, version control, and documentation. * Collaborate closely with business, data, architecture, and user experience teams. * Stay updated on emerging AI technologies, models, and frameworks. * Contribute to continuous improvement and evolution of technological solutions. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Backend and Integration** * Java 8 or higher. * Java Spring Framework and Spring Boot. * Maven and/or Gradle. * REST APIs, JSON, and SOAP services. * Microservices and SOA architecture. * API Gateway. * JDBC Template, JDBC, and/or JPA. * Express and Node.js (desirable). **Artificial Intelligence** * Generative Language Models (LLMs). * Prompt design and optimization. * Development of agents using tools and function calling. * Orchestration of multi-agent tasks and workflows. * RAG architectures, embeddings, and semantic search. * Evaluation, security, quality, and traceability of AI solutions. **Cloud and Platform** * AWS API Gateway, Lambda, S3, SQS, SNS, CloudWatch, and CloudFront. * Docker and Kubernetes. * Istio (desirable). * Cloud and hybrid architectures. **Data and Messaging** * PostgreSQL and/or SQL Server. * DB2 (desirable). * Data modeling and SQL. * Kafka, Redis, and queue management. * Asynchronous messaging and event-driven architecture. **Quality and Tools** * Git, GitFlow, semantic versioning, and Conventional Commits. * Jenkins, SonarQube, and Nexus. * JUnit, Mockito, and Hamcrest. * Log4j and logging best practices. * Jira and Confluence. * Visual Studio Code, Eclipse, and/or IntelliJ. **Additional Information** * Professional degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Computing, Software Engineering, or related field. * Proven experience in software development, system integration, or AI-based solutions. * Experience developing backend services with Java, Spring Boot, and REST APIs. * Experience with microservices, enterprise integration, and cloud services. * Knowledge of API and application security. * Experience with relational databases and SQL queries. * Experience in continuous integration, version control, and code quality. * Ability to document solutions and work under agile methodologies. * Availability to work in a hybrid 3x2 model in Chile.
