At **PS GRUPO HUNTING**, we aim to hire a **professional or recent graduate** with a strong analytical foundation, interest in data science, and motivation to develop optimization solutions applied to real-world business challenges. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing **analytical solutions and optimization models**, using **Python** and associated tools, to address complex problems through mathematical logic, data analysis, and structured thinking. We seek someone eager to learn, propose solutions, and contribute an analytical perspective to the development of decision-support tools. **Role Objective**: Develop and implement analytical and optimization models, applying **Data Science** techniques to efficiently, scalably, and results-orientedly solve business problems. **Main Responsibilities** * Design and develop optimization models. * Build analytical solutions using Python and specialized libraries. * Analyze data and generate actionable insights. * Develop solutions oriented toward scheduling, programming, or operational optimization problems. * Implement and test analytical models or solutions. * Clearly communicate technical results to diverse audiences. * Collaborate with technical and business teams to integrate solutions. **Mandatory Technical Requirements** * Proficiency in Python for data analysis and/or optimization. * Knowledge of optimization models, though formal work experience is not strictly required. * Familiarity with Python libraries such as pandas, numpy, scipy, or similar. * Ability to solve problems using logical, analytical, and structured thinking. * Experience with scheduling, programming, or optimization problems. * General knowledge of Data Science and the model lifecycle. ***Formal work experience is not strictly required if the candidate demonstrates practical proficiency through projects, applied knowledge, or technical assessments.*** **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience or knowledge in API or backend framework development. * Knowledge of SQL or NoSQL databases. * Familiarity with cloud tools or deployment environments. * Experience in academic, personal, or professional projects related to optimization, data science, or mathematical programming. **Key Competencies** * Analytical thinking and ability to solve problems in a structured manner. * Autonomy in developing solutions and proposing improvements. * Strong learning ability, adaptability, and openness to new challenges. * Ability to clearly and effectively communicate technical results. * Results orientation and focus on generating business value. * Interest in growing within a technical, analytical, and challenging environment. **Position Conditions** * Hybrid work mode: 1 day per week onsite. * Working hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00–18:00 hrs. * Net salary: $1\.400\.000 CLP. **Application** Send CV to: **seleccion@grupops.cl** Subject line: **Data Scientist \& Optimization Developer** Workplace: Onsite employment
