Continuous training At Sodexo Chile, we are looking for a Kitchen Assistant for the Antofagasta Penitentiary Establishment located at Nudo Uribe. Responsibilities * Perform food production tasks in the kitchen area and implement hygiene standards for product preparation; * Carry out preparatory operations for food preparation: cleaning, washing, as well as chopping, cutting, mixing, grinding, blending, sifting fruits, vegetables, meats, milk and dairy products, cereals, flours, legumes, and ingredients as required. * Participate in the preparation of standard or special meals, including food preparation and cooking. * Work in hot, cold, and pastry sections. * Assemble and serve meals to patients and staff; distribute meals to rooms and dining areas according to the prescribed regimen and daily schedule. Requirements * Minimum 1 year of experience in food handling. * Basic knowledge of food handling in collective catering. * Ability to work effectively in a team and in a dynamic environment. * Availability to work rotating shifts.
