At Equifax, we are looking for a Data Engineer to join our Innovation Center in Chile. ### **What will you do?** * Investigate internal and external stakeholder queries under the direction of the team lead. * Analyze technical issues to identify root causes, formulate findings, and suggest resolutions. * Communicate observations and results to stakeholders with guidance from the leadership team. * Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements, reporting mandates, and industry compliance frameworks. * Support inquiries regarding data standards and security procedures. * Enter and maintain technical information within the documentation repository. * Follow established security protocols to identify and report potential vulnerabilities. * Perform intermediate-level data quality controls following company processes. ### **What experience do you need?** * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering. * More than 2 years of experience working as a Data Engineer or in related roles. * Intermediate proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, or scripting languages. * Cloud environment certifications (preferred). ### **What could set you apart?** * Prior experience working with BigQuery, GCP, and Apache Beam. * Previous experience or knowledge in the financial sector.
