**A Day in the Life and the Impact You’ll Make:**
Assist certified mechanics in conducting periodic vehicle technical inspections according to applicable procedures and regulations, ensuring accuracy and quality of results.
**Your Responsibilities:**
* Responsible for keeping tools, equipment, and materials required for technical inspections organized.
* Verify that instruments are properly calibrated and in good working condition.
* Assist the certified mechanic in inspecting vehicle components (brakes, suspension, lights, tires, etc.).
* Collaborate in taking measurements and recording data as per established procedures.
* Follow instructions from the certified mechanic to ensure inspections are conducted in accordance with current regulations.
* Apply safety protocols during all tasks.
* Assist in preparing basic reports on vehicle condition.
* Maintain updated inspection records under supervision.
* Perform cleaning of parts and components when required.
* Support minor preventive maintenance tasks.
* Verify with the mechanic that obtained results are accurate before closing the inspection.
* Report any anomalies detected during the process.
* Ensure proper return and storage of tools after each inspection.
* Report damages or needs for replacement.
* Contribute to a safe and healthy work environment by actively participating, assuming responsibilities, and following established procedures and policies.
* Comply with legal protocols and regulations related to technical inspection and quality control.
* Maintain order and cleanliness in the work area, respecting industrial safety standards.

**What You’ll Bring:**
* Completed secondary education; Technical qualification at secondary level in Automotive Mechanics or related fields.
* Knowledge of vehicle and internal combustion engine systems.
* Valid driver’s license – desirable.
* Prior experience in vehicle technical inspection – desirable.
