Regulate oven, grill, and broiler temperatures. Remove food from the freezer to thaw in the refrigerator. Ensure proper portioning, plating, and garnishing of meals. Maintain food logs. Monitor the quality and quantity of prepared food. Communicate any required assistance during peak workload periods. Notify the Executive Chef of excess food items to be used for daily specials. Inform Food and Beverage service staff about rejected items and available specialty menu items. Ensure food product quality. Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and the food preparation checklist. Prepare cold dishes. Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees; serve as a role model. Comply with all company safety and policy procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions to management; and complete required safety trainings and certifications. Ensure uniforms and personal appearance are neat and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; and protect company assets. Anticipate and respond to guest service needs. Communicate with others using clear and professional language. Cultivate and maintain positive working relationships with others; support the team in achieving common goals; listen and respond appropriately to concerns raised by other employees. Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards. Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods. Reach above shoulder height and below knee level, including bending, twisting, turning, and stooping. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors. DESIRABLE SKILLS Education: Diploma issued by a technical, trade, or vocational school. Relevant Work Experience: Minimum 3 years of related work experience.
