Job Summary: The Logistics Coordinator organizes and oversees the transportation, storage, and distribution of goods, ensuring efficient and cost-effective operations. Key Highlights: 1. Coordination of deliveries, pickups, and transportation routes. 2. Inventory management and transportation cost control. 3. Interaction with suppliers, carriers, customers, and internal teams. The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for organizing and supervising activities related to transportation, storage, distribution, and goods control, ensuring operations are conducted efficiently, punctually, and cost-effectively. Key Responsibilities * Coordinate deliveries, pickups, and transportation routes. * Supervise the movement of goods from warehouse to final destination. * Manage inventory and verify product inflows and outflows. * Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, customers, and internal teams. * Prepare shipping orders, logistics documentation, and records. * Track shipments and resolve delays or incidents. * Supervise warehouse and transportation staff as required. * Control transportation costs and identify cost-saving opportunities. * Maintain up-to-date logistics systems and records. * Ensure compliance with safety procedures and company policies. Requirements * Prior experience in logistics, transportation, warehousing, or distribution. * Strong organizational and planning skills. * Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple tasks. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. * Communication and negotiation skills. * Ability to solve problems quickly and effectively. * Experience with ERP systems or logistics management software is preferred.
