About the Role **TheBotss Digital Technology and Automation Solutions** is looking for an experienced and motivated **Transmission Line Engineer** to join our team in **Arica**. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the design, review, planning, and execution of electrical transmission line projects, ensuring that technical solutions comply with safety, reliability, quality, and applicable regulatory requirements. You will work closely with teams from electrical engineering, project management, construction, substations, protection and control, contractors, and other specialists to ensure proper technical coordination and achievement of each project’s objectives. Key Responsibilities * Manage and coordinate engineering activities related to electrical transmission lines. * Review designs, drawings, calculation reports, technical specifications, and project documentation. * Participate in route studies, structure selection, and evaluation of technical alternatives. * Coordinate requirements with substation, protection, control, civil works, and construction teams. * Prepare and maintain updated technical reports, records, drawings, and engineering documentation. * Identify technical risks and propose practical solutions during design and construction phases. * Verify compliance with electrical safety standards, technical standards, and regulatory requirements. * Monitor schedules, deliverables, and engineering progress. * Support tendering processes, technical evaluation of suppliers, and proposal reviews. * Participate in technical inspections and field activities as required. * Support continuous improvement initiatives related to project quality, efficiency, and reliability. * Maintain professional communication with clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams. Qualifications and Experience * Ideally **4 to 7 years of experience** in electrical engineering, transmission, energy infrastructure, or related projects. * Experience as a **Transmission Line Engineer**, **Electrical Project Engineer**, **High-Voltage Engineer**, or similar position. * Solid knowledge of design and operation of electrical transmission systems. * Experience interpreting electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, and technical documentation. * Strong organizational and time-management skills. * Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. * Experience with AutoCAD, PLS\-CADD, PLS\-POLE, PLS\-TOWER, or other transmission engineering tools is highly desirable. * Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Civil Engineering, or a related field. Desirable Skills * Design of medium-, high-, or extra-high-voltage transmission lines. * Knowledge of structures, conductors, insulators, and grounding systems. * Experience with PLS\-CADD and transmission line modeling tools. * Familiarity with Chilean electrical regulations and applicable international standards. * Experience in substation projects and grid interconnection. * Multidisciplinary project coordination. * Preparation and review of technical specifications. * Management of engineering contractors and suppliers. * Technical analysis and report preparation. * Technical English for reading manuals, standards, and specialized documentation.
