Every day, more than 80,000 colleagues worldwide lead the way toward greener and smarter mobility—connecting cities while reducing carbon emissions and replacing automobiles. **Main Responsibilities** * Comply with the organization’s Internal Regulations on Order, Hygiene, and Safety. * Comply with the Integrated Management System Policy and applicable Occupational Health and Safety regulations. * Immediately report any unsafe condition or action that may pose risks to personnel, equipment, or operations. * Maintain the work area clean, orderly, and free of items that could cause incidents. * Manage waste in accordance with the project’s environmental procedures, ensuring proper segregation and disposal. * Prepare the work area by maintaining cleanliness, order, and correct placement of tools and materials. * Review drawings and sketches, verifying levels, slopes, and alignment axes of the slab. * Form expansion joints, working points, and recesses by performing controlled cuts to depth and thickness as specified in design documents, specifications, and approved drawings. * Assist in receiving concrete from mixer trucks and operating the Slipform paver, verifying slump and temperature. * Place, distribute, and vibrate concrete according to the applied method (manual and/or automated), avoiding segregation and ensuring adequate reinforcement cover. * Screed, level, and control flatness using manual tools specific to the activity, correcting with a darby or trowel. * Execute construction joints during pouring, maintaining clean edges and continuity of the slab. * Seal joints where applicable, performing cleaning, primer application, backup cord placement, and sealant application per procedure. * Apply curing membrane or coverings to prevent surface cracking. * Perform immediate finishing touches and corrections: post-Appitrack finishes, corrections after formwork removal, edge definition, and repair of spalling or marks. * Perform final finishing touches after concrete pouring and formwork removal to improve flatness, contours, and slopes. * Inspect surface imperfections after concrete pouring and carry out necessary repairs per established procedures. * Repair, treat, and fill surface shrinkage cracks and fissures by opening, cleaning, and filling with resin or mortar per approved procedures. * Support manual concrete pouring into forms and/or continuous pouring using the Slipform paver, maintaining flow through assistance in loading and unloading mixer trucks. * Visually monitor concrete finish during Appitrack equipment advancement and maintain safe distance from exclusion zones to prevent entrapment. * Support correction—when required—of separation, position, and orientation of chairs/baseplates installed by Appitrack, and perform necessary adjustments to correct deviations detected after equipment passage. * Follow instructions from direct supervisors, respect environmental regulations, and report incidents or hazards. **Requirements:** * 2 years of experience in civil works, participating in basic concrete pouring, finishing, formwork, and rebar activities. Experience in pavement and slab works, as well as railway site operations, is desirable. * General knowledge of civil works, finishing, pavements, and general understanding of drawings related to railway track installation.
