Job Summary: We are seeking Network and Service Technicians to ensure the installation, repair, and maintenance of telecommunications and IT services, delivering quality service to customers. Key Responsibilities: 1. Ensure correct installation, repair, and maintenance of services. 2. Perform corrective and preventive maintenance tasks on the network. 3. Propose and implement actions to improve and optimize the network. We are PSINet, CTR, and FOA — a leading group in technological solutions for large-scale mining and industrial sectors in Chile, focused on enhancing productivity and safety through innovation, automation, and IT/OT technologies. Currently, CTR in the city of Chiloé is seeking to expand its field operations technical team by adding two new Network and Service Technicians. The position aims to ensure the correct installation, repair, and maintenance of all services delivered by CTR to its Enterprise and Mass-market customers, providing high-quality service aligned with customer needs and expectations. Main Responsibilities * Install various telecommunications and IT services offered by the company, following established technical procedures and scheduled appointments with customers. * Perform corrective maintenance tasks as quickly as possible to minimize service downtime. * Efficiently execute the network’s preventive maintenance plans. * Carry out all activities safely in areas such as ducting, infrastructure, power supply, transmission, climate control, etc., complying fully with all applicable instructions. * Efficiently manage various technical alternatives for troubleshooting and fault diagnosis. * Propose and implement actions to improve and optimize the network, visual pollution, etc. Desired Profile * Professional qualification as a Technician in Electricity, Electronics, Telecommunications, Networks, or similar higher-level technical program. * Minimum 2 years of total work experience, including at least 1 year as a Network and Service Technician in telecommunications companies. * Valid Class A or B driver’s license. * Willingness and ability to work on-site and travel within southern Chile. * Physical fitness compatible with working at heights.
