A **Junior Assistant** is an entry-level position that combines administrative tasks with specific support to the assigned department or project. Its main objective is to facilitate team work and learn about the company's professional dynamics.
**Main Responsibilities**
Although responsibilities vary by sector, typical duties include:
* **Administrative and office support**: Managing schedules, responding to emails, preparing documents, organizing files, and handling correspondence. It is common to assist in organizing meetings, taking notes, and following up on action items.
* **Project management support**: Collaborating in project planning and monitoring, including updating timelines, preparing progress reports, and coordinating with different departments or clients.
* **Data analysis and reporting**: Preparing reports, tracking dashboards, and presentations using tools such as Excel and PowerPoint. This may involve recording and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs).
* **Communication and coordination**: Acting as a point of contact for internal and external inquiries, channeling information between team members and clients.
**Desired Profile and Requirements**
* **Education**: Final-year students or recent graduates in fields such as Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Accounting, or related disciplines. In technical areas like engineering or technology, students in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related fields are preferred.
* **Technical skills**: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is nearly universal. In some cases, knowledge of specialized tools such as AutoCAD, SAP, Power BI, or digital advertising platforms is valued.
* **Personal competencies**: Organization, attention to detail, proactivity, ability to learn, and strong communication skills are valued.
