Position Summary: We are seeking an HSE/SSOMA Engineer to ensure compliance with occupational health and safety and environmental regulations in assembly projects. Key Responsibilities: 1. Ensure compliance with Law No. 16,744 and internal HSE regulations. 2. Advise and train personnel on risk prevention and environmental protection. 3. Monitor and manage safety in complex assembly projects. **Opportunity for HSE Engineer at SILENTIUM** **POSITION PROFILE** We are seeking an HSE or SSOMA Engineer responsible for ensuring proper implementation of Law No. 16.744 across our projects, advising the company to meet client requirements and internal regulations concerning occupational risk prevention and environmental protection. **Responsibilities** * Conduct detailed risk analysis associated with assembly work, including installation of barriers, panels, cabins, working at heights, lifting operations, scaffolding erection and dismantling, high-tonnage load-handling equipment, etc. * Monitor and update project startup folders, Safe Work Procedures, Risk Matrices, and document management. * Train personnel on associated risks, control strategies, preventive measures, and environmental protection. * Effectively monitor and enforce safety measures during work execution. * Advise work teams on AST implementation, GEMA methodology, checklists, work permits, etc. * Liaise with Mutualidad (workers' compensation) experts. * Prepare Safe Work Procedures (PTS), instructions, Risk Matrices, and manage documentation. * Procure and train personnel on proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). * Coordinate with the client’s prevention team, chain of command, and ITO (Occupational Health and Safety Officer). * Implement MINSAL (Ministry of Health) protocols as per the annual plan. * Meet KPIs defined in the client’s customized plan. * Monitor and manage environmental impact. **Requirements** * Bachelor's degree in Occupational Risk Prevention Engineering or related field. * Minimum 5 years’ experience in assembly, lifting, and working-at-heights projects. * Proficient user-level knowledge of Microsoft Office. * Demonstrated responsibility, proactivity, and strong interpersonal skills. * Class B driver's license. **Benefits** * A safe and professionally committed work environment. * Opportunities for continuous professional development. * Access to a dedicated team of professionals.
