Collaborate on civil, mechanical, or electrical construction projects **EQUANS Chile (EQCL)** is seeking a **FIRST ELECTROMECHANICAL TECHNICIAN** to perform functions and tasks in the electromechanical area of the project(s) for which they will be hired. **We invite all qualified candidates who meet the following requirements to apply for this vacancy:** **Profession / Education:** * Technician in electromechanics, electricity, mechanics, or related field. **Knowledge:** * Knowledge of basic assembly concepts: high- and low-voltage structures, primary equipment. * Knowledge of general-use materials and tools: use of fall protection equipment, chain hoists, come-alongs. * Blueprint Interpretation: Ability to read and understand electrical drawings. * Specific LMT Knowledge: Experience assembling structures, primary equipment (disconnectors, insulators), underground networks, cable joints, and work in chambers. * Tool and Equipment Handling: Proficiency with hand tools (pliers, grinders), conductor pulling machinery, and measurement equipment such as multimeters, megohmmeters, and earth resistance testers. **Experience:** * 5 years of experience in civil, mechanical, or electrical construction projects. **Requirements:** * Valid Class B driver’s license. * Resident of Ñiquén or surrounding areas (San Gregorio, Chillán, San Carlos...).
