Job Summary: A Field Technician – Environmental Sampling is required to conduct on-site sampling activities for various environmental matrices, operate equipment, and ensure the quality of field records. Qualifications: Chemical Technician, Environmental Technician, Industrial Technician, or related degree. * Conduct on-site sampling of various environmental matrices (water, soil, sludge) in accordance with established procedures, standards, and programs. * Deliver field records, measurements, and supporting documentation promptly and with required quality. * Operate, program, and verify automatic monitoring equipment to ensure proper functionality. * Collect samples and correctly prepare chain-of-custody documentation per defined protocols. * Comply with assigned sampling schedules and instructions from the Contract Administrator and/or Project Engineer. * Carry out retrieval, backup, storage, and shipment of data and/or samples to the responsible professional, as applicable. * Ensure availability on site of instruments, equipment, consumables, and materials necessary for proper service execution. * Perform verification, inspection, and basic maintenance of sampling instruments and equipment to safeguard service quality and result reliability. **Requirements** * Minimum 3 years of general work experience, including at least 1 year of experience in executing and coordinating field monitoring activities. * Valid Class B driver’s license with at least 3 years of validity required. * Driver’s record without violations or incidents. * One year of experience handling process variable, environmental, or related equipment is required. * Willingness to work on-site in the Atacama Region, with residence in the area or ability to travel.
