Job Summary: TRAIN seeks a Transport Operator responsible for operating and moving light and heavy vehicles, performing minor maintenance. Key Responsibilities: 1. Operate trucks, semi-trailers, and other vehicles for which the candidate is authorized. 2. Assist mechanics with minor maintenance and repairs. 3. Apply for the TRANSPORT OPERATOR position: **Responsible for operating, transporting, and performing minor maintenance on light vehicles and heavy equipment, in accordance with directives provided by immediate supervisors.** * Operate trucks, semi-trailers, pickup trucks, or any other vehicle for which the candidate is legally authorized, traveling between points designated by the supervisor. * Assist mechanics in carrying out minor maintenance and/or repairs (mechanical and vulcanization) as required by the supervisor. * Inspect and verify the condition of assigned vehicles prior to commencing each route, promptly reporting any anomalies detected. * Comply with applicable legal regulations, including the Traffic Law and Labor Law, particularly regarding driving and rest time requirements. * Given the nature of the duties involved in this position and/or in the event of emergencies or field assignments requiring immediate response, the candidate must operate whichever vehicle or equipment is assigned to carry out their tasks. * Preferred: 2 years of experience transporting live loads (liquids) using 45-ton tank-type semi-trailers. * Preferred: Experience in mining operations. **Desired Profile** ------------------ Education Level * Completed secondary education. Licenses\-Courses\-Certifications * Class A2 (former) or A5 driver's license, with proven experience operating tractor-trailers. * Preferred: Mechanical training course. * Minimum 3 years of experience. * Minimum education level: Secondary. * Graduate. * Strong safety orientation. * Strong orientation toward adherence to work rules and procedures. * Commitment. * Strong orientation toward goal achievement. * Defensive driving skills. * Responsibility. * Spanish (native proficiency)
