At LL Consulting, we are searching for a Planer Operator for our important client in the forestry and wood processing industry, located in the commune of Freire, Araucanía Region. Your primary challenge will be to operate, adjust, and perform basic maintenance on a 4-sided planer, ensuring efficient equipment operation and compliance with established quality and safety standards for the production process. Key responsibilities include: * Operate and supervise the operation of a 4-sided planer. * Perform adjustments and regulations of machinery according to production process requirements. * Carry out basic maintenance tasks to ensure proper equipment functionality and operational continuity. * Install, adjust, and prepare cutting tools according to production requirements. * Conduct quality controls and measurements during the process, promptly identifying potential product deviations. * Coordinate and guide, when necessary, the work of a small team of collaborators. Ideal Profile: * Completed secondary education. Ideally, training or knowledge related to industrial, mechanical, forestry, or related fields. * Minimum 5 years of experience operating industrial machinery, preferably related to wood processing. * Demonstrable experience operating medium- or large-size planers or moulders. * Knowledge of operating, adjusting, and maintaining 4-sided planers, including installation and regulation of cutting tools. * Familiarity with quality controls and measurements associated with the production process. * Proactive, responsible profile oriented toward compliance with quality and safety standards. * Availability to work on-site and full-time.
