Position Summary: We are seeking a well-rounded Proposal Engineer with coordination capabilities to lead the entire proposal process at GHD. Key Highlights: 1. This role seeks a well-rounded professional with coordination capabilities to lead proposals across the company’s various markets. In this position, you will be involved in the entire proposal process and will be responsible for meeting GHD’s deadlines and quality requirements. Our promise to you **Responsibilities:** * Participate in assigned proposal processes through to submission, including explanatory meetings/site visits, consultation rounds and responses, coordination, development, consolidation and review of proposals, and possible clarification and negotiation stages until contract award. * Be responsible for preparing both technical and commercial proposals, including related considerations and economic costing (man-hours, subcontractors and/or inputs, and relevant negotiations), following company guidelines. * Prepare estimation spreadsheets, methodologies, review of work plans/schedules, organizational charts, and technical and economic forms in collaboration with technical and operational support staff. * Prepare proposals within tight deadlines and to the quality standards required by company procedures. * Proactively, regularly, systematically, and effectively interact with all stakeholders, obtaining appropriate feedback regarding the extent to which their expectations are met. * Identify, quantify, and mitigate risks associated with the company’s participation in each tendering process—whether technical, commercial, and/or contractual. **Requirements:** * Civil Engineer of any specialty or Civil Construction Manager. * Minimum 2 years’ experience developing engineering proposals. * Advanced MS Office, MS Project, Adobe. * Intermediate English language proficiency is desirable.
