At Bioparque Buinzoo, we are seeking a **Training Assistant**, whose primary objective is to support the Trainer in preparing and maintaining the spaces and materials required for the implementation of animal training and handling programs, thereby contributing to animal well-being and the proper execution of departmental activities. **Main Responsibilities** * Keep animal enclosures, cages, and training areas clean, disinfected, and in optimal condition. * Prepare materials, tools, and equipment required for training sessions and veterinary activities. * Support logistics for handling and presentation activities, ensuring availability of required resources. * Observe and report any situation that may affect animal safety, welfare, or behavior. * Assist in implementing care and handling procedures as directed by the Trainer. * Maintain basic records of tasks performed and materials used. * Support recording of training and conditioning processes carried out by animal keepers. * Promote teamwork and compliance with Bioparque standards. **Requirements** * Completed secondary education; technical studies in fields related to **animal handling, zoology, biology, or related disciplines**. * Basic knowledge of hygiene, cleaning, and disinfection of enclosures. * Understanding of animal safety and welfare procedures. * Familiarity with tools and equipment used in training areas and enclosure maintenance is desirable. **We Offer** * Staff cafeteria. * Half-day off on birthday. * Park admission tickets. * Supplementary health insurance. * Other corporate benefits.
