Telecommunications and Infrastructure Manager **Emetel SpA** Concepción, Biobío Region, Chile O'Higgins 780, Concepción **Compensation:** CLP $4\.700\.000 per month **Work Schedule:** Full-time Job Description Emetel SpA seeks to hire a **Telecommunications and Infrastructure Manager** to lead the planning, operation, maintenance, and evolution of the organization’s telecommunications and technological infrastructure. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing technical teams, supervising infrastructure projects, ensuring service availability and continuity, and establishing strategies to maintain a secure, stable, scalable, and efficient infrastructure. Key Responsibilities * Lead the strategy and operations of telecommunications and technological infrastructure platforms. * Supervise networks, connectivity, servers, communication systems, and infrastructure services. * Manage technical teams and coordinate specialized vendors. * Plan and supervise infrastructure upgrade, expansion, and modernization projects. * Ensure availability, performance, and operational continuity of critical services. * Implement security, backup, and incident recovery policies and best practices. * Oversee network and system monitoring, identifying and resolving performance or availability issues. * Manage budgets, resources, contracts, and vendors related to infrastructure and telecommunications. * Define preventive and corrective maintenance procedures. * Evaluate emerging technologies and solutions to improve infrastructure efficiency and capacity. * Coordinate business continuity and disaster recovery initiatives. * Establish performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare reports for senior management. * Ensure compliance with internal policies, technical standards, and security requirements. * Promote continuous improvement of technological processes, services, and operations. Requirements * Professional degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Engineering, Network Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field. * Proven experience in leadership roles within telecommunications, IT infrastructure, or related areas. * Experience managing technical teams and infrastructure projects. * Solid knowledge of networks, connectivity, servers, communication systems, and cybersecurity. * Experience managing vendors, contracts, and technology budgets. * Knowledge of cloud technologies, virtualization, and monitoring tools is desirable. * Ability to manage critical incidents and make decisions under pressure. * Excellent leadership, communication, and planning skills. * Results-oriented mindset and commitment to continuous improvement.
