Located in the heart of Santiago, our office connects global expertise with world-class mining projects. **Job Description** ------------------------- **Closing Date:** June 25, 2026 Reporting to the SERA Manager, the primary responsibility of the Project Control role is to manage and monitor the various actions undertaken throughout projects, ensuring appropriate daily coordination with involved departments. A critical success factor for this role is maintaining strict budgetary control over projects under management, along with timely tracking of commitments made by cross-functional departments participating in project execution. Furthermore, it is essential to ensure strategic planning aligned with the project’s global objectives. Among the job requirements, the candidate is expected to possess proficiency in using project planning and management tools. Additionally, the role demands high flexibility to adapt to changes and adjustments inherent to the various stages of project development. This position will be based in Santiago, Monday through Friday. **Key Responsibilities** --------------------------------- * Develop and manage short-, medium-, and long-term planning for core project pillars related to sustainability areas (Social, Environmental, Permits). * Prepare periodic reports on the progress of budget execution for resources assigned to management for the project. * Coordinate information collection with different leaders associated with the project. * Coordinate actions and deliver information to project leadership as required. * Establish cross-functional work routines and generate control support documentation to meet project requirements. **Requirements** -------------- * Professional engineering degree in a relevant discipline from an accredited institution; postgraduate studies or professional specialization will be considered an advantage. * Minimum 10 years’ experience in similar roles, ideally related to project management and control. * Proficiency in project planning and control tools. * Experience using software such as SAP and Microsoft Project. * Intermediate English proficiency. **About Teck** At Teck, we value diversity.
