We are currently seeking a **Primary Substation Operator** to join our **Technical Operations Management**, based in **Santiago/Renca**, where you will perform operational activities, inspections, alarm panel readings, and support for disconnection programs—all within CHILQUINTA’s primary substations operating at voltage levels from 12 kV to 220 kV, to faithfully fulfill the contract established between Tecnored and its client. Energized at low and medium voltage, to meet contractual obligations between Tecnored and clients. ***What will be your main challenges?*** * Operate and manipulate primary substation and distribution network equipment, executing operational programs and remote instructions according to established procedures. * Respond to contingencies and electrical failures, attending substations as required to restore service continuity and keeping relevant dispatch centers informed. * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance tasks in primary substations, conducting inspections, operational verifications, and work both at ground level and at height. * Ensure operational safety by identifying hazardous conditions, supervising compliance with regulations and procedures, and guaranteeing proper use of equipment, tools, and personal protective equipment. * Coordinate and supervise substation activities, maintaining communication with dispatch agencies, overseeing fieldwork, and ensuring compliance with current operational regulations.**Job Requirements** + Secondary-level Technician qualification or Competency Certification issued by an authorized entity. + Training in Electricity, Industrial Electricity, or Electromechanics. + Minimum 3 years of professional experience in similar positions. + Experience in primary substation operation. + Knowledge of switching operations and power electrical equipment operation. + Familiarity with electrical safety standards and procedures. + Ability to interpret operational panels and execute switching programs. + Availability to respond to contingencies and conduct fieldwork. + Availability to work weekends and rotating shifts, as 24-hour coverage is required. ***Our Commitment to You*** We promote a safe, collaborative, and continuously improving work environment.
