We are seeking a Paramedic to cover vacation replacement at the First Aid Room located in Las Condes. **Mission** Responsibilities include supporting inmate care and outpatient healthcare services in consultation booths adjacent to prison modules, as well as performing administrative tasks related to healthcare delivery, as delegated by the Chief Physician, Coordinating Nurse, and Shift Nurses. **Main Job Responsibilities:** * Daily review of medication envelopes for inmates to ensure correct medication and dosage. * Daily delivery of non-controlled (non-psychotropic) oral medications in nursing stations adjacent to modules, per medical prescription. * Administration of psychotropic medications per medical prescription and according to unit-established schedules. * Provision of initial care in nursing stations adjacent to modules for inmates presenting with acute morbidity, acting as a triage provider to assess urgency and appropriateness of care requests. * Support the Nurse in conducting the Adult Preventive Medical Examination (EMPA), per the Ministry of Health’s Adult Program. * Document all healthcare activities provided to inmates according to the area of assignment (emergency room, dental clinic, inpatient ward, nursing station). * Ensure appropriate use of supplies, medications, and health unit equipment. * Participate in organizational training programs. * Perform administrative tasks related to healthcare delivery, as delegated by the Chief Physician and/or Shift Nurse and other professionals. * Locate and organize clinical records. * Conduct injury assessments for individuals entering the prison facility as suspects, convicted persons, or detainees. * Conduct injury assessments for individuals inside the prison facility upon request from Gendarmería de Chile. **Requirements for the Ideal Candidate:** * Education: Higher Technical Degree awarded by a State Higher Education Institution. * Hepatitis B Vaccination Certificate (Mandatory) **Conditions:** * Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 07:00–17:00 * Fixed-term contract offered for vacation replacement \*This vacancy is open to persons with disabilities\* We aspire to be the best by delivering health and logistics solutions for workers and their families—apply now!
