Operation of packaging equipment and hydraulic forklift **Job Description: Packing Operator\nJob Summary** The Packing Operator is responsible for performing packaging, boxing, and conditioning tasks for finished products, ensuring they meet quality standards and are ready for distribution or shipment. This role is fundamental in the production and warehouse chain, and its performance directly impacts end-customer satisfaction. **Main Functions and Responsibilities** **Preparation and Packaging:** * Open product packages or bundles upon entering the packing area to inspect their condition. * Box, nest, and palletize finished products according to established packing criteria for each dispatch order. * Perform labeling (tagging), placement of security sensors, and handtags as required by the customer. * Prepare merchandise for promotions or special offers. **Quality Control and Inventory:** * Conduct basic visual quality control of products prior to packaging, removing defective or damaged items. * Accurately count products, either manually or using counting machines. * Record production and inventory activities in computerized systems or physical documentation. **Machinery Operation and Logistics:** * Operate semi-automatic packaging equipment, performing basic adjustments and routine maintenance. * Operate hydraulic forklift (stocha) to move materials and products within the warehouse. * Load and unload bulk materials or finished products. **Maintenance and Safety:** * Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. * Strictly comply with all safety, quality, and food safety policies (if applicable). * Perform cleaning and disinfection of equipment and work areas according to procedures. **Job Requirements** **Education:** * Completed secondary education (minimum). * Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (preferred). **Experience:** * Minimum 1 year of experience in warehouse, packaging, or production roles (preferred). * Prior experience operating hydraulic forklifts (preferred).
