At Essity, we are seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our Paper Machine Maintenance team. The role will be responsible for executing corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance activities, ensuring the operational continuity of production equipment and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and operational excellence. We are located in Santiago de Chile, in the commune of Lampa (with shuttle buses available from various zones), and in this role, collaborative work with different production areas is expected. If this role resonates with you, we would love to speak with you. **Job Responsibilities** * Execute preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance plans. * Diagnose and resolve technical failures using root cause analysis and problem-solving methodologies. * Conduct equipment inspections and identify improvement opportunities related to safety, reliability, and performance. * Perform repair, welding, and fabrication of metal structures as required. * Collect technical data for critical equipment and prepare periodic reports. * Maintain up-to-date technical documentation and ensure compliance with maintenance standards. * Actively participate in initiatives focused on continuous improvement, safety, and operational efficiency. * Train and support operators in using maintenance procedures and tools. **Who You Are** * Technical Industrial High School diploma or equivalent qualification. * Minimum 2 years of experience in industrial maintenance. * Knowledge of: industrial maintenance, industrial lubrication, interpretation and execution of maintenance plans, continuous improvement tools. * Preferred experience in production or manufacturing environments. **What We Offer You** Our purpose—Breaking barriers for well-being—gives meaning to everything we do.
