We are currently looking for a **Development Engineer** for Compañía Pisquera de Chile’s plant in **Ovalle.** The purpose of this role is to execute the innovation roadmap for new cocktails and liqueurs, ensuring compliance with Marketing’s development matrix and its technical and economic feasibility within existing processes and technologies, as well as contributing to developments that enhance production efficiency and improve current products, guaranteeing their standardization in information systems (SAP) and end-to-end quality assurance standards. **Main Responsibilities:** * Develop new liquid products and improvements to existing ones, implementing operational procedures for production, work orders, recipes or BOMs, keeping SAP information up to date and communicating it to all involved areas. * Generate physicochemical and sensory specifications for raw materials and liquid products under production and packaging, jointly with the Quality department. * Lead and conduct laboratory-, semi-industrial-, and industrial-scale trials of liquid products, raw materials, and new production processes, overseeing the first production batches until official specifications are established. * Develop raw material and material specifications, coordinating with internal and external suppliers to minimize losses due to supply non-conformities. * Conduct sensory and physicochemical evaluations of our products and those of competitors, generating studies and improvements to ensure finished product stability and shelf life. * Contribute to the implementation of the Quality Pillar through innovation and development processes. **Requirements:** * Degree in Food Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Civil Engineering, or related field. * Minimum 2 years of experience in product development or formulation within the food or beverage industry. * Knowledge of TPM, 5S, or similar methodologies. * Intermediate SAP and Excel proficiency. * Familiarity with ISO certifications. * Willingness to travel nationwide. * Residence in Ovalle or nearby areas.
