Job Summary: We are seeking a Welder to perform welding, cutting, and joining operations on metal structures, as well as fabricate, repair, and improve the fleet. Key Highlights: 1. At **JCS Logistics and Transportation**, a leading forestry transportation company, we are looking for a **Welder** to join our team at the fleet maintenance workshop located in Coihue, Negrete, Biobío Region. **Main Responsibilities:** * Perform welding, cutting, and joining operations on metal structures according to defined technical standards. * Fabricate, repair, and improve metal structures of the fleet, equipment, and facilities. * Inspect equipment and structures, identify faults, and support repairs both in the workshop and on-site. * Provide operational support to the workshop and other company workshops as required. * Safeguard tools and materials, request timely replenishment, and maintain order and cleanliness. **Employment Conditions:** * Location: Coihue sector, Negrete, Los Ríos Region. * Work Schedule: Rotating shifts totaling 42 hours per week, distributed from Monday to Friday and Monday to Saturday. * Contract Type: Fixed-term contract for 1 month \+ renewal for 3 months on fixed-term basis, followed by indefinite-term contract subject to performance evaluation. **Benefits for JCS Employees:** * Complementary health and life insurance. * Affiliation and preferential agreements with Los Andes Compensation Fund, FALP, and Vida Cámara. * Daily lunch provided by the company. * Training programs and career development opportunities. * Health initiatives and quality-of-life activities for employees and their families. **Job Requirements:** * Minimum Education: Certification or qualification as a Welder. * At least 1 year of work experience in similar positions or equivalent functions. * Residence in communes or areas near the base, such as Negrete, Nacimiento, Renaico, or Mulchén. * Physical and mental fitness compatible with job demands, including workshop work and occasional field tasks.
