Job Summary: We are seeking a Quality Inspector with experience in structural calculation and design for mining or industrial projects, skilled in specialized software and relevant codes. Key Highlights: 1. Experience in structural calculation and design for mining projects. 2. Proficiency in structural analysis software (SAP2000, ANSYS, STAAD.Pro). 3. Knowledge of Chilean and American structural codes. **Quality Inspector – Codelco El Salvador Mining Project** -------------------------------------------------------------- **Work Location** * On-site mode at **El Salvador – Codelco Division** * **4x3 shift schedule** * **Camp accommodation** * **Transportation included:** Airfare from Santiago to El Salvador **Monthly Salary:** $1\.600\.000 (net) **Minimum Required Education (Mandatory)** ------------------------------------------- * Mechanical Civil Engineer * Structural Civil Engineer * Civil Engineer with Structural specialization **Specific Required Experience** ------------------------------------ **(2 to 5 years – mandatory)** * Experience in **structural calculation and design** for mining or industrial projects. * Knowledge and/or experience with steel structures such as: * Chutes * Hoppers * Supports * Platforms * Walkways * Frames * Structures associated with mechanical equipment **Desirable experience in:** * Civil foundations * Concrete structures **️** **Required Technical Knowledge** ------------------------------------------- * Proficiency in structural analysis software: **SAP2000, ANSYS, STAAD.Pro or similar** * Proficiency in **AutoCAD** * Familiarity with **Revit** is desirable * Knowledge of **Chilean and American structural codes** * Ability to prepare: * **Calculation reports** * **Technical reports**
