Job Summary: We are seeking a Data Engineer to contribute to the operational continuity and evolution of the analytical platform toward cloud technologies (GCP and BigQuery). Key Highlights: 1. Will participate in modernization and cloud data integration. 2. Key role in the evolution of the analytical platform with GCP and BigQuery. 3. Will collaborate with IT, analytics, and internal user teams. ### **Data Engineer \| Analytical Platform \& Cloud** ### **Job Objective** Contribute both to the operational continuity of the current analytical platform and to its evolution toward cloud-based technologies using GCP and BigQuery. The role will participate in data integration, automation, and modernization initiatives, enabling analytical capabilities across various company departments. We seek a strong technical profile capable of operating in hybrid environments that combine legacy solutions with modern data architectures. ### **Key Responsibilities** * Design and develop data integration and transformation pipelines. * Build ETL/ELT processes for production environments. * Integrate data from internal systems, APIs, and external sources. * Model data structures for analytical exploitation and BI. * Optimize data storage and processing workflows. * Ensure data quality, traceability, and governance. * Implement monitoring and alerts for critical pipelines. * Participate in analytics and business intelligence initiatives. * Collaborate with IT, analytics, and internal user teams. * Document data flows, models, and technical processes. ### **Key Accountabilities** * Operational continuity of the analytical platform. * Quality and availability of corporate data. * Scalability and efficiency of data pipelines. * Reliable integration across multiple information sources. * Technological modernization of legacy processes toward cloud. * Data traceability and governance. * Enabling technical support for analytics and BI initiatives. ### **Key Technical Skills** * Data engineering and production pipelines. * Advanced SQL. * ETL/ELT processes. * Data Warehouses and Datamarts. * Cloud Computing (ideally GCP). * Data integration from multiple corporate sources. * Analytical data modeling. * BI tools. * Best practices in technical documentation and development. * **Desirable** * BigQuery. * Pentaho or other traditional ETL tools. * Power BI and/or Looker Studio. * Python for data automation and processing. * Data governance and quality. * Experience in technological modernization and hybrid environments. ### **Mandatory Requirements** * Professional degree in Computer Science Engineering, Informatics Engineering, or related field. * Minimum 3 years of experience in data engineering. * Experience working with advanced SQL. * Experience developing ETL/ELT pipelines in production environments. * Experience working with Data Warehouse and/or Datamarts. * Experience in cloud environments and processing large volumes of data. ### **About the Challenge** At Sotraser, we are driving the evolution of our analytical platform toward modern cloud-based data architectures.
