Working in a regulated environment with cashier duties and inventory control A pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to work in the Metropolitan Region. Job Objective: To perform service, sales, and customer support functions for both pharmaceuticals and mass-consumption products—including private-label brands—while adhering to internal policies and external regulations applicable to pharmacy personnel. Conditions: 1. Compensation: Base salary + commission. 2. Schedule: Shifts of 42 / 30 / 20 hours. 3. Work location: Santiago. 4. Responsibilities: - Refer all pharmacological inquiries to the on-duty Pharmacist Chemist, as well as requests for product returns or exchanges. - Perform cashier duties, including payment receipt, collection, safekeeping, and handover to direct supervisor. - Provide customers with information, promotion, and guidance regarding beauty, personal care, or natural products. - Report expired products under one’s responsibility, ensuring timely restocking; effectively and promptly conducting necessary controls and inspections to prevent expired products from remaining in one’s assigned inventory. 5. Requirements: - Hold a Technical Higher Education degree in Pharmacy or a Technical Higher Education degree in Chemistry and Pharmacy. - Valid Pharmacy Assistant license (MANDATORY). - Prior pharmacy experience preferred. - Availability to work rotating shifts (6 days on, 1 day off), Monday through Sunday. 6.
