Our core values are the foundation that make us successful for ourselves, our customers and the planet. **Job Description** **Albemarle** is hiring an **Associate Category Manager** at our La Negra plant, located in the **Antofagasta** region. **What You’ll Do** * Develop and execute procurement activities for raw materials and supplies, and service contracting, effectively and efficiently. * Analyze data to understand market trends, evaluate supplier performance, and identify opportunities for supply chain improvement. * Manage optimization of spend associated with your category, ensuring high business impact by identifying cost optimization, sustainability, and value-add opportunities within the category. * Ensure effective management of supply chain risks through robust strategies and world-class performance management of critical supplies. * Establish and implement procurement strategies based on strategic sourcing.
