Position Summary: We are seeking a Surveyor to execute and supervise surveying tasks on highly complex underground construction projects, ensuring accuracy and traceability. Key Highlights: 1. Participation in project planning and progress control. **Job Description** ---------------------- Execute and supervise surveying tasks on underground works, ensuring accuracy, traceability, and compliance with standards. At Echeverría Izquierdo, we seek to hire a Surveyor to execute and supervise the surveying tasks required for the development of highly complex projects. The candidate will be responsible for conducting surveys, setting out works, and performing geometric controls, ensuring the accuracy of alignments, elevations, slopes, and structural geometry, as well as maintaining surveying records and project traceability. This position requires experience in underground works, proficiency with surveying equipment, and the ability to coordinate with production, quality, and occupational health and safety teams. Responsibilities Conduct field topographic and geodetic surveys. Perform setting-out for excavations, support systems, and linings. Perform setting-out for civil works and installations. Control alignments, elevations, slopes, and tunnel geometry. Process and analyze data using surveying software. Prepare surveying progress reports and records. Coordinate activities with Production, Quality, and Occupational Health and Safety teams. Operate total stations, digital levels, and GNSS receivers. Verify tolerances specified in technical specifications. Participate in project planning and progress control. Maintain and safeguard assigned surveying equipment. Comply with safety procedures for underground work. Maintain traceability of surveying information for the project. Participate in geometric monitoring and control of structures. **Candidate Requirements** -------------------------- * Surveying Technician or Geomatics Engineer. * Minimum 3 years of professional experience in construction. * Specific experience in underground works or urban infrastructure. * Experience in tunnels, underground mining, or similar projects. * Proficiency with Leica, Trimble, Topcon, or similar total stations. * Proficiency with GNSS receivers and precision leveling. * Proficiency with AutoCAD and specialized surveying software. * Experience in geometric control and construction setting-out. * Experience in geotechnical monitoring and instrumentation. * Ability to lead field assistant crews. **Selection Process** ------------------------ The selection process is conducted via Aira — a recruitment platform designed to enhance your application experience.
