Finning, Caterpillar’s strategic partner and leader in equipment distribution and services, is searching for top talent to fulfill the role of **Service Engineer for the Sierra Gorda Contract**, who will be responsible for delivering highly specialized technical advisory services, troubleshooting, and implementing improvements to systems (mechanical or electrical, as applicable) of Shovels and Drills. **Primary Job Responsibilities:** * Deliver highly specialized technical advisory services, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements to systems (mechanical or electrical, as applicable) of Shovels and Drills. * Collaborate continuously with mining maintenance personnel to ensure optimal equipment availability and reliability, as well as implementation of best maintenance and repair practices. * Lead Major Repair (Overhaul) projects and assembly and commissioning of new equipment, if required. * Maintain ongoing communication with BI (MWK) Engineering Department to identify chronic issues and coordinate appropriate solutions. **Application Requirements:** * Mechanical Engineer or Electrical Engineer (as required by the area). Years of professional experience within the company validate the required academic level. * 10 years of experience in maintenance, assembly, and repairs of Shovels and Drills.
